I love this little town at the top of the Smoky Mountains. They have the best gift shops for a lot better deals than anything you could get in the park itself. They have some beautiful jewelry and other items made by the local natives and artisans. Really nice stuff.

I often pass through Cherokee when I'm traveling across country. I like to stop in Sylva, too, another really awesome town nearby.

This whole area is one of my favorites in the country. 💓
