Getting through Hot Springs, NC can really suck... until ya hit Hwy 209... that is.🤘🏼😎

One of my favorite roads to drive in NC. It has strict weight limits, so 18 wheels are not allowed. In fact, it's mostly designated for motorcycles, and so they do own the road here.

I always try to stay out of their way. Pull over, give them the right, but I have a sporty enough car that handles the curves nicely, and I enjoy the drive too.

Then, about 15 mi south of Hot Springs, is a little "town" named Trust, which consists of a general store and a cafe, but it has the best hamburgers ever, and these really spicy fries that were delicious too.

The only problem I have is that the cafe is not open enough. I've been through three times, and only once was it open. Oh, I was so very disappointed. But I do love this drive, so I will be back. I just need to learn their schedule better.
